Los Crudos was an Chicago-based hardcore-punk that existed from 1991 to 1998. Los Crudos pretty much represents the essential sounds of hardcore punk. It's loud, aggressive, sloppy, but most of all, it's passionate. "Canciones Para Liberar Nuestras Fronteras" is a self released ( Lengua Armada records ) in 1996, consist of 17 tracks which are powerful in music and message.
At a time when hardcore was turning into metal, these guys got to the older, faster roots. You can hear bits of Minor Threat, 7 Seconds, Void and the Dead Kennedys, if you want to pick things out, but with Martin's rabid vocals (which got higher-pitched over time), Los Crudos had their own identifying factor. In conclusion, for anyone who are fan of loud, fast music would do well to listen to this.
